1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Joony Technologies Pte. Ltd. collects, uses, stores, and shares information in connection with the Joony Admin mobile app and related Joony Admin services.

Joony Admin is intended for business customers, owners, managers, and staff who have been given access to a Joony merchant account. It is not intended for consumer use by the general public.

2. Information We Process

Account and login information, such as user names, roles, access permissions, authentication tokens, and account status.

Business operational data, such as sales, orders, tickets, payments, refunds, voids, closings, settlements, outlet names, reports, menu data, staff data, member data, inventory, costing, subscription details, invoices, receipts, and usage records.

AI interaction data, such as questions asked in Ask Joony, generated answers, conversation history, selected date ranges, and the business insight packets used to ground answers.

Device and app data, such as device type, app version, operating system, push notification token when enabled, diagnostic logs, error reports, and security events.

Support communications, such as messages, screenshots, contact details, and other information you provide when requesting help.

3. How We Use Information

To provide Joony Admin features, including dashboards, reports, closing reviews, ticket details, management tools, account information, and notifications.

To authenticate users, enforce tenant and outlet access controls, protect sessions, and prevent unauthorized access.

To generate Ask Joony answers and AI briefs from business data available to the signed-in tenant.

To provide customer support, investigate issues, improve reliability, maintain security, and develop product improvements.

To support billing, subscription administration, audit records, legal compliance, and business operations.

4. AI Processing

Joony Admin includes AI features such as Ask Joony and AI briefs. To generate answers, Joony may send relevant business data to AI service providers, including OpenAI, together with the user question and system instructions.

The data sent for AI answers may include dates, sales totals, order or ticket counts, payment breakdowns, outlet names, menu item performance, closing status, unpaid tickets, refund or void information, and other business metrics needed to answer the question.

AI answers are designed to be grounded in available business records, but AI can be wrong. Users should verify important business decisions before acting.

Users should not enter unnecessary personal, sensitive, confidential, or regulated information into free-form AI questions. Joony does not allow the AI to perform write actions or make business changes automatically.

5. Sharing and Service Providers

We do not sell business data. We share information only as needed to operate Joony Admin, provide support, protect the service, comply with law, or complete a business transaction.

Service providers may include cloud hosting providers, database providers, analytics and logging tools, payment or billing support tools, communication tools, and AI service providers.

Where a business customer authorizes integrations or external workflows, relevant data may be shared with those connected services to provide the requested functionality.

6. Tenant Boundaries and Access

Joony Admin is designed around tenant-based access. Users should only see data for businesses, outlets, and roles they are authorized to access.

Business account owners and administrators are responsible for managing staff access, permissions, and offboarding users who should no longer access Joony Admin.

7. Data Retention

We retain business records, audit records, support records, AI conversation history, logs, and account records for as long as needed to provide Joony services, support customers, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain accurate business records.

Retention periods may vary based on the type of data, customer configuration, legal requirements, and operational needs. Business customers may contact us to request deletion or export of eligible data.

8. Security

We use technical and organizational measures intended to protect Joony Admin data, including authenticated access, encrypted transport, role-based access controls, tenant scoping, logging, and operational safeguards.

No system is completely secure. Customers should use strong passwords, limit staff access to appropriate roles, and contact us promptly if they suspect unauthorized access.

9. International Processing

Joony may process and store information in countries where Joony, its infrastructure providers, and service providers operate. These countries may have data protection laws different from those in your location.

10. Your Choices and Requests

Business customers may request access, correction, export, or deletion of eligible data by contacting Joony. Some records may need to be retained for legal, security, billing, audit, or operational reasons.

Users can delete supported AI conversation history inside the app where the feature is available. Business administrators can also manage staff access through Joony Admin tools.

11. Children

Joony Admin is a business tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through Joony Admin.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and may provide additional notice through Joony channels where appropriate.
